A compact new building for a four-group daycare center is being constructed at Lortzingstraße 8 and 10, which will provide 74 childcare places for children in the Eberhardshof district in the future. The facility comprises two nursery and two kindergarten groups and replaces the existing buildings from 1926 and 1970, which were no longer suitable for renovation. The group rooms face an approximately 885 m² outdoor play area with a variety of play and exercise options. An air-water heat pump, a photovoltaic system, and measures for rainwater retention and infiltration contribute to the climate-positive and resource-efficient operation of the building.
