wbg is committed and responsible to making Nuremberg’s living space even more attractive.

Our commitment – To a beautiful life in Nuremberg.

Demographic change, climate change, rising energy costs, social justice – these are all challenges we face every day. All while finding answers for the future.

In doing so, we focus primarily on Nuremberg and its surroundings. From district development to the targeted promotion of projects for children and young people. Together with the dedicated commitment of our employees, we want to promote a Nuremberg that’s truly worth living in.

These issues are particularly important to us:

Our feathered lodger: The kestrel

In consultation with the City of Nuremberg’s Environmental Office, we were permitted to set up a nesting site in the attic of one of our residential buildings for a pair of kestrels that return every year during the breeding season. Every spring, you can watch our kestrels nesting via a webcam.

This year (2026), the kestrel pair has returned and has already laid 5 eggs in the nesting box. Unfortunately, due to a technical malfunction, the live stream of the kestrels is currently unavailable. For species conservation reasons, the cameras cannot be repaired until July.
