The two buildings from 1939 have been modernised. There are 8 flats on Hermannstraße and 11 flats on Nelkenstraße.
The façades were water-blasted, re-plastered and painted. The original wooden shutters were replaced by aluminium shutters.
Both staircases have been repainted.
The plain tile roofing was replaced and the roof truss was partially repaired. 5 chimneys were demolished.
The staircase banisters and the uppermost windows were raised.
All flats received new radiators and new electrical supply lines.
Hermannstraße and Nelkenstraße are located in the St. Leonhard district.
The modernisation was carried out in the occupied state. Some were still heated with coal stoves.
