The new lease agreement with LKD Strand Café GmbH was signed on 29.02.24 and will run from 1 March 2024. The shareholders of this newly founded company are experienced Nuremberg restaurateurs who previously ran a large beer garden on Marienberg and a small catering business, among other things.

Following brief renovation work and the planning of organisational processes, "Das Strandcafé am Wöhrdersee" will open its doors to guests in April. The exact date is yet to be announced. The public toilet will then also be accessible again.

"We are delighted to have found tenants with experience in the catering industry and are confident that the future offer will be well received by people from the surrounding area and also by walkers," explained wbg Managing Director Ralf Schekira at the presentation of the new team of tenants.

"We were delighted to be awarded the contract for the Café am Wöhrdersee by wbg Nürnberg. We are convinced that with our experience and commitment we will be successful at this location for the benefit of the people. As things stand today, we will be opening the Strandcafé am Wöhrdersee in the course of April," says Janusz Lal from LKD Strand Café GmbH.
