WBG KOMMUNAL GmbH is in charge of the construction of a new five-form primary school on Forchheimer Straße for the City of Nuremberg. The school and the integrated after-school care area are designed for up to 500 children.
The preparatory work was brought to a successful conclusion, allowing the installation of the construction site to be commenced on schedule after Easter. Construction work on the €46.8 million school building has now been underway for a number of days.
“I am very grateful that we are now able to build a new, modern primary school for our children at this location with the motto ‘Space is being created for children here’”, explains Cornelia Trinkl, City Councillor for School and Sport, on the occasion of the start of the construction work.
“After a long preparatory phase, we will now do everything in our power to construct this building according to schedule and to ensure that operations can start as planned at the beginning of the 2024/25 school year. In this day and age, this demands the utmost effort. We also ask all our neighbours for their understanding for the inconvenience caused by such a construction project”, says Ralf Schekira, Managing Director of WBG KOMMUNAL GmbH on the same occasion.
