With the topping-out ceremony for the GREEN ELEVEN residential project at Kuchweg 1–7, wbg Nürnberg GmbH Immobilienunternehmen is making another strong statement in the new GroßreuthGRÜN district. The successful completion of the shell construction not only marks an important milestone in the building process, but also underscores the project's special position within the district: GREEN ELEVEN is one of the last construction projects in GroßreuthGRÜN – and at the same time one of the most architecturally distinctive.

"GroßreuthGRÜN is a prime example of how modern urban development can succeed today: with a high quality of life, lots of green space, excellent infrastructure, and in the immediate vicinity of the new Zurich Park," emphasizes Mayor Marcus König. "The townhouses now being built here combine urban living with proximity to nature and create attractive properties in one of Nuremberg's most exciting development areas."

The GREEN ELEVEN ensemble comprises eleven high-quality townhouses and condominiums; completion is scheduled for the end of 2026. The architecture is deliberately distinctive: cantilevered concrete roofs over the carports, lush green facades, green roof gardens, and a central, planted entrance area characterize the appearance. The townhouses offer around 144 square meters of living space, each with a separate entrance, private garden, spacious roof garden, and full basement. The offering is complemented by modern condominiums with floor-to-ceiling windows, underfloor heating, parquet floors, and a penthouse with a roof garden and views of Nuremberg Castle.

A central element is the communal room on the ground floor, a deliberately designed meeting place. Whether for neighborhood gatherings, private parties, or public viewing events, the room with multimedia connections and an additional adjoining room, for example for fitness or hobbies, strengthens social interaction and brings the neighborhood to life.

GREEN ELEVEN also impresses in terms of sustainability. The project is being realized in accordance with the Efficiency House 55 standard, with central heating and hot water supply via district heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, and infrastructure for e-mobility at the parking spaces. Pre-installed flower boxes, roof gardens, and green facades are an integral part of the overall sustainable concept.

"GREEN ELEVEN stands for a better quality of life," explains wbg Managing Director Ralf Schekira. "We are not just creating apartments here, but a residential complex with identity – well thought-out, architecturally striking, and embedded in a strong overall urban development concept."
