WBG Beteiligungs GmbH, a subsidiary of wbg Nürnberg GmbH Immobilienunternehmen, is building a total of around 170 residential units in the idyllically situated development area in the south of Nuremberg - from condominiums with a view to subsidised terraced houses. In addition, 12 building plots were available for sale.
A key feature of this development area is its particularly sustainable heat generation: 67 units obtain their energy from a centralised local heating network with wood pellets, while the remaining 100 or so are heated with "cold local heating". This involves a geothermal collector covering an area of around 1.3 hectares, for which N-ERGIE has buried around 16 kilometres of plastic pipes in two nearby fields. The system is one of the largest of its kind in northern Bavaria. With the help of the photovoltaic system, the houses and flats are CO2 neutral on balance.
Another special feature of the RieterBogen in Kornburg are the five landscaped development courtyards. With shady trees and seating, they are inviting places for neighbours to meet and linger. There is plenty of space for children to play, while "green troughs" drain rainwater and contribute to species conservation.Practical and beautiful to look at:The green roofs provide thermal insulation in winter and heat protection in summer.
Five LUX terraced houses, four VITA semi-detached houses and seven RBK 218 freehold flats are currently for sale. The start of sales for a further ten subsidised houses is planned for autumn 2024, with completion currently scheduled for 2026. 72 units are currently occupied.
A LUX show home has now been built and fully furnished in the centre of the development so that interested parties can get an idea of what living in RieterBogen is like. It has now been opened by wbg Managing Director Frank Thyroff. "We are delighted that, as a property developer here in Kornburg, we are making a contribution to modern urban development on the one hand and, on the other, helping young families to stay in the urban area with the subsidised house developed especially for this location," he said at the opening of the show home.
Siegfried Dengler, Head of the Urban Planning Office, emphasised the importance of the project for urban development.
The RieterBogen is a "pioneering example of future-orientated and sustainable living", which takes up the existing building structure and at the same time offers modern living comfort.
The show home will open its doors again on Sunday, 28 April, from 2 to 4 pm.Registration and individual appointments can be made at www.wbgbautraeger.nuernberg.de or (0911) 8004 147.
