WBG Nürnberg Beteiligungs GmbH - a subsidiary of wbg Nürnberg GmbH - has started the civil engineering work for the new retirement home in St. Johannis. Parallel to the archaeological excavations, so-called prefabricated driven piles have been installed in the ground since Monday, 8 April 2024. These are necessary to distribute the building loads into deeper, load-bearing layers. The driving of the 354 piles in total is unfortunately causing unavoidable disruption around the construction site between Brückenstraße and Großweidenmühlstraße, despite compliance with all the conditions of the permit. wbg Nürnberg asks the affected residents for their understanding. The construction work will take around 8 weeks and will take place from Monday to Thursday, 8 am to 5 pm. The shell construction phase will then begin.
