The committees of the wbg 2000 foundation have approved a grant of 19,500 euros for the Nuremberg "Kulturrucksack", which is coordinated by Theater Mummpitz.

The funding will enable the Nuremberg "Kulturrucksack" (culture backpack) 2024 to be packed for children at the Friedrich-Wanderer-Schule, the Friedrich-Wilhelm-Herschel-Schule and the Carl-von-Ossietzky-Schule for the first time.

Various cultural offers for children

The contents of the rucksack consist of cultural activities such as theater, dance, museums and concerts as well as accompanying workshops on cultural education and their organization.

“With this funding, we are once again supporting an offer for children and are convinced that we are doing something very good for the cultural education and development of our children,” said Ralf Schekira, Chairman of the Board of the wbg 2000 Foundation, at the presentation of the funding.

Applications for funding can be sent to the wbg 2000 Foundation, Ms. Pfister, Glogauer Straße 70, 90473 Nuremberg. Information and application forms are available on the Internet at www.wbg2000stiftung.de.
