Dual study programme
Want to study and get a taste of working life at the same time? With a dual study programme at wbg, you can have both and benefit from the combination of theory and practice. With the dual study programme at wbg, you’ll can gain practical experience right from the start, right alongside your studies. In cooperation with the Nuremberg Institute of Technology we offer both technical and commercial courses of study.
Civil Engineering (B.Eng.)
Civil engineers plan, design, and construct buildings and construction projects on a scientific basis and organize the construction process. Of course, aspects such as cost-effectiveness, quality, and environmental compatibility also play a key role. This field requires innovative and competent minds who can develop and implement new ideas.
In the first stage of the program (1st and 2nd semesters), students are mainly taught the fundamentals of mathematics and natural sciences. In the 3rd and 4th semesters of the second stage of the program, this basic knowledge is supplemented and deepened, and subject-specific basic knowledge is taught. In addition, regular laboratory internships promote a practical approach to the subject disciplines.
Business Informatics (B.Sc.)
The Business Informatics program therefore offers both a sound academic education in business administration and related fields, as well as a thorough insight into the core modules of theoretical and, above all, practical and applied computer science.
